Discussion:      A strong low pressure system northeast of Lake Superior is driving strong west to northwest winds across the region Friday along with unseasonably cold air and clouds.  Scattered light showers will also be found through Friday evening with a bit heavier amounts in extreme northern Wisconsin where lake effect will contribute to the moisture.  Temperatures could drop to the upper 30s or so Friday night, but there will likely still be clouds and enough wind at least in the first half of the night from preventing it from get down toward freezing.  The coldest readings Friday night could be in western and southwest Wisconsin where the skies will clear the soonest.  Saturday night should be the coldest with clear skies and light winds.  A frost appears likely.  Then temperatures will gradually moderate into early next week.  After sunshine Saturday and Sunday, the next chance of showers arrives Monday.
